This Wednesday, Focused Speech, Inc. is proud to be participating in Golf 4 Life, an inspiring event for stroke survivors hosted by Champion the Challenges at Los Lagos Golf Course in San Jose.
What is Golf 4 Life?
Golf 4 Life is a free, day‑long gathering dedicated to stroke survivors, caregivers, and families. It offers:
One‑on‑one lessons with PGA teaching pros
A 3‑hole golf option for those who wish to play
A putting challenge
Exhibit area featuring stroke recovery technologies and healthcare services
Opportunities for survivors to connect, share stories, be inspired by keynote speakers, and explore adaptive equipment that can make golf and other activities accessible. (Champion the Challenges)

At Focused Speech, Inc., we believe in holistic recovery and empowerment. For people who’ve had strokes, communication, mobility, physical activity, and community support are all deeply connected. What Focused Speech, Inc. Will Be Doing There
Exhibiting our services and resources — we’ll have a booth where participants can learn about speech therapy, communication, cognition, and swallowing rehabilitation and other interventions that support life after stroke.
Listening & Learning — we want to hear directly from survivors, caregivers, and therapists about what challenges remain, what’s working well, and what tools or innovations are most needed.
Connecting with the community — forging relationships with healthcare professionals, fellow exhibitors, and nonprofits to better collaborate in our shared mission of recovery and quality of life.
Spreading Awareness — encouraging community understanding of what communication recovery looks like, how speech therapy fits into stroke rehabilitation, and how those affected can access help.
